SPECIAL EVENTS HOSPITALITY

“Be devoted to one another in brotherly love.  Honor one another above yourselves.  Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.  Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.  Share with God’s people who are in need.  Practice hospitality.”  Romans 12:10-13

MISSIONS STATEMENT:

We desire to be a support system to event co-ordinators in the Church.  To provide service where needed in the areas of catering and reception.  To arrange and provide our church family members with meals at those times when encouragement, compassion, inspiration, and joy are called for.

WHAT WE DO:
- Provide hospitality arrangements for visiting Pastors / Missionaries / Special Invited Guests (meals)
- Arrange for meals for church families when needed (birth of baby, baby shower, bridal showers, death of a loved one, health crisis)
- Organize Church Potlucks (and be a support system to other committees) for special events and holidays

HOW WE MAKE THIS HAPPEN:

We currently have teams in place, each with a Team Leader to co-ordinate team members.  As the Teams work on a rotation basis, a team will be contacted and will take on the task of organizing the event.  When Teams are not available, our Hospitality Ministry Leaders contact congregation members for helping with the events.

This ministry is open to men, women, and youth!
